Power for the TurboLayer Cable

turbotenna

The TurboLayer Cable kit requires a 15–21V laptop power adapter with a 5.5 x 2.1 mm plug to power the included 12V power module.

This setup ensures a stable 12V output for your hard drives.

About the 5.5 x 2.1 mm Plug:

  • 5.5 mm: Outer diameter of the plug.
  • 2.1 mm: Inner diameter (pin hole) of the plug.
  • This is a common type of DC power plug used for laptops and other electronics.

If needed, you can use a 5.5 x 2.1 mm plug splitter on the laptop power adapter to power both the laptop and the 12V power module at the same time.
